Fred Yarra

Fred Yarra, Jr joined the Giacalone Design Services, Inc. team of project managers in August of 2010. With over 35 years of experience in the Joint Trench Utility Industry, Fred has been involved in a vast array of projects ranging from master planned communities, to commercial and residential developments, and public works projects. Early in his career Fred gained valuable knowledge and experience working for PG&E by providing gas facility installation, working as an electric lineman, and performing electrical estimating and engineering. Subsequent experience in project management for the installation of joint trench and street lighting facilities proceeded Fred’s recent 20 years of project design and management with a local design consultant as well as establishing and managing a Utility Design Department for a major city.
